Doudou, the mascot of Dimension Gate’s Readoow, has become the mascot of the Beijing High School Inter-School Football Championship, known as BGBC. The smiling orange cat with a book takes on a lively new role: joining Beijing high school students on the pitch and cheering on every brave new beginning.

A tournament born of passion, a home pitch for youth
According to BGBC’s official introduction, the tournament began in 2016. Founded and organized by students, it offers seven-a-side, school-based competition for non-professional high school football enthusiasts in Beijing. Its purpose of creating a stage for peers connects schools through football.
What makes BGBC compelling is young people turning enthusiasm into something they take seriously. From building teams and training to organizing matches and supporting from the sidelines, every role gives students a shared sense of belonging. Beijing’s high schools shine on the pitch, too
In April 2024, Beijing No. 35 High School hosted the Second Branch of RDFZ, with students drumming in support. In 2023, Western Academy of Beijing and Beijing National Day School met in the final. Students from different schools coming together around a shared passion bring inter-school exchange to life.
